Approved by the Department of Communities and Local Government for carbon calculation under regulation 17a digitalenergy not only produces BRUKL compliance reports and Energy Performance Certification but also the creation of a building log book. This framework enables a holistic approach to initial commissioning, ongoing maintenance and compliance.
Scalable Enterprise Functionality
Operating as a true enterprise level tool digitalenergy empowers the users to access single or multiple portfolios of buildings at a high level. This enables asset management of properties whilst providing a method to compare and act upon key performance indicators. At the enterprise dashboard level users can view total consumption per building, and benchmarks in terms of operational and asset rating and/or energy usage per meter squared.
From the enterprise dashboard users accounts can be managed and other management functions such as database backups initiated. Where information is common to a multiple number of buildings such as emission factors or contacts, this is capture at the enterprise level and allocated simply at a building level increasing productivity of the administrator.

Flexible Building Dashboard
From the enterprise dashboard the user can view information on a specific building through a building dashboard. Designed to facilitate the provision of information as a snapshot to the specific user the layout has a number of 'docking' areas that can feature reports, charts or certification. Through the building dashboard information can be viewed and edited as required to enable either fast effective compliance or a detailed building record to be maintained, or both!

Designed around a .NET framework the software is a flexible solution to a multitude of needs. Within the Enterprise and Building dashboard framework the software is constructed from modules that meet the needs of the client or the demands of the building. Modules can be added at any time making the system scalable.
Fundamentally like any other software the framework works on the principle of inputs and outputs. Inputs can be from direct manual interface, upload from templates and forms or automatically collected from existing metering or building management systems either directly or from a database link, all providing seamless integration. Outputs are presented to the user through a html interface enabling them to be accessible from any location. Export of reports can then be enabled in a variety of forms.
