i-Prophets help to highlight energy-reducing effort
i-Prophets Energy Services have recently been working with Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council to renew their Display Energy Certificates, with Councillor Nick Grant overjoyed with the results.
Councillor Grant stated "I am delighted that the latest set of Display Energy Certificate [DEC] inspections have confirmed that the hard work and investment that the Borough Council has put into making our corporate buildings more energy efficient has had a positive effect in reducing their carbon footprint and significantly reducing the costs of running them.
The scores for our buildings prove that overall we are using much less energy to run than would be expected. We’re not resting on our laurels and we will be striving to make our buildings even more energy efficient over the coming months."
i-Prophets Principal Low Carbon Consultant Darren McNulty is also very happy with the results of the latest surveys. He said "We are very pleased that the certificates could reflect the time and effort that the Council have put into reducing their energy. It is always rewarding to see hard work paying off and am sure this will provide the impetus needed to improve further. We very much hope that we that we can continue the partnership into the future and assist Nuneaton and Bedworth in achieving their goals."
