Marston PLC, Wolverhampton
ensuring energy gets a seat at the bar
Marstons are in the business of great food, fine ales and good times, not energy management. When Bob Jauncey, an experienced energy professional, was appointed to the role of Energy and Environmental Manager in 2007 he knew the size of the task was not going to be a small one.
"Without i-Prophets energy services legislation and regulation would be a complete suprise to us. We now have a strategy and a budget to cope with the onset of the EPBD and the carbon reduction commitment." Bob Jauncey , Energy Manager, Marston PLC

sense of tradition
100 days of Carbon
i-Prophets originally became introduced to Marston through the CIBSE 100 days of carbon clean up campaign when appointed to carry out a pilot study of Marston House, the companies head office in Wolverhampton.
Following the pilot i-Prophets remained in close contact helping with the creation of an energy management team, energy policy and advising on technology implementation. Marstons also installed digitalenergy at its head office site as a centric portal to managing energy.
Carbon Champion of Champions
As a reward for his continual efforts Energy and Environmental Manager, Bob Jauncey, was presented with the carbon champion of champions award at the recent CIBSE low carbon performance awards. Nominated by i-Prophets energy services for his commitment to energy management Bob fought of stiff competition from the National History Museum and HLK Architects to win the award.
