i-Prophets Energy Services is a spin out company from Manchester University with diagnostics software based on artificial intelligence research.  It has created a holistic building information management software product, branded digitalenergy. This employs a unique holistic approach, delivering user-centric benefits to all stakeholders in the buildings operation with a specific focus on energy usage.

The software is one of only seven products to be accredited by Communities and Local Government to enable the building owner to produce EPC and DEC certificates to comply with new energy legislation.

Together these provide a £2 billion UK based market opportunity.  The digitalenergy software forms a framework for access, through upgrades, to further diagnostic tools, compliance to forthcoming regulation regarding carbon reduction and equipment inspection and a range of value added services throughout the life cycle of a building.

 

Our client base

i-Prophets Energy Services have already gained multi site users through direct sales to substantial UK companies. Indirect routes to market include strategic alliances with Architects, Property Developers, Energy Consultants, Equipment Manufacturers and Component Distributors.  The diagnostic software will reduce the need for consultant input and will create a new route to market through hosted energy management services via the internet.  These revenue sources result in substantial revenue growth.

Management Team

The executive management team is well rounded in experience and relevant market experience.  Stuart Whistance (CEO) and Wai Lau (CTO) have driven the business from 2003 gaining the early sales opportunities and the initial vital relationships.  The quality of the product has now attracted Richard Hipkiss (Sales and Marketing Director) to give up a “high-flying” career within Energy Management and he brings to the Company the strength of his renown in the industry. 

Investment
